कोणताही भेदभाव न बाळगता सर्वांना बरोबर घेवून जाणारा वारकरी संप्रदाय व याचे आराध्य म्हणजे पंढरीचा विठोबा. भूवैकुंठ , विठुरायाची नगरी, संतांचे प्रेरणास्थान अशा अनेक उपाध्यांनी पंढरीचा गौरव होतो. महाराष्ट्राच काय पण देश व आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवर ही शहराची दखल घेतली जाते. या पंढरपूरला जसा आध्यात्मिक वसा आहे तसा स्वातंत्र्यपूर्व व स्वातंत्र्योत्तर काळातील राजकीय इतिहास ही मोठा आहे. स्व. बाबूराव जोशी, पां.तु. उत्पात, बबनराव बडवे, भाई राऊळ, औदुंबरआण्णा पाटील, तात्यासाहेब डिंगरे, यशवंतभाऊ पाटील यांच्यासह अनेकांनी पंढरपूरचे नाव मोठे केले आहे. अलिकडच्या काळात राजकारणातील संत म्हणून ओळख असणार्‍या सुधाकरपंत परिचारकांनी येथे पंचवीस वर्षे विधानसभेत प्रतिनिधीत्व केले आहे व आज ते राजकारण व सहकारात सक्रिय आहे. येथील राजकारणत नेहमीच निकोपता राहिली आहे. सत्ता आल्या गेल्या पण टोकाची भूमिका घेण्याचा प्रयत्न कोणी केला नाही. यामुळेच 2004 पासून येथील राजकारणात बिनधास्त व्यक्तिमत्व म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणार्‍या भारत भालके याचा राजकीय उदय झाला. कोणतीही राजकीय पार्श्‍वभूमी नसलेल्या भारतनानांनी विठ्ठल कारखान्याचे संचालक, चेअमरन ते दोन वेळा आमदार होण्याचा जो बहुमान मिळविला आहे तो केवळ त्यांच्या लढवय्या स्वभावामुळेच. मुळातच लाल मातीत कुस्त्या खेळण्याचा नाद असणार्‍या या रांगड्या व्यक्तिमत्वाने पुढील परिणामांची मुळी कधी पर्वाच केली नाही. थेट लढायचे..मग पैलवान किती ही दांडगा असो ..याचा विचारच डोक्यात आणला नाही. यामुळेच 2009 मध्ये सार्‍य राज्याचे लक्ष त्यांनी पंढरपूर- मंगळवेढा मतदारसंघात विजय मिळवून आपल्याकडे खेचले. सारेच वातावरण प्रतिकूल होते. कोणीच प्रचारासाठी नसताना ही स्वतःच स्टार प्रचारक होवून एकहाती 38 हजार मतांनी विजयश्री खेचून आणली.
तत्पूर्वी भारतनानांनी 2004 ला पंढरपूर विधानसभा मतदारसंघात नशीब आजमाविले व स्वतःची दावेदारी या मतदारसंघात स्थापित केली. त्यावेळी त्यांनी पराभवाची चिंता केली नव्हती. यामुळेच त्यांचा 2009 चा विजय सुकर झाला. विठ्ठल कारखान्याचे अध्यक्षपद त्यांच्याकडे आल्यानंतर कारखान्यांच्या निवडणुकांमध्ये विरोधकांशी दोन हात केले. ज्यांच्याबरोबर लढले त्यांनाच नंतर आपल्या बरोबर घेत विठ्ठल परिवाराची पुनर्बांधणी केली. विठ्ठल कारखान्याच्या संचालक मंडळात राजूबापू पाटील असोत की कल्याणराव काळे यांचे बंधू समाधान काळे यांना संधी दिली. एकाच म्यानात अनेक तलवारी ठेवण्याचा प्रयत्न त्यांनी केला व तो यशस्वी ही ठरला. 2009 ला ज्या मोहिते पाटील यांच्याविरोधात नाना विधानसभा लढले व विजयी झाले ते खासदार विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील हे आज त्यांचे चांगले मित्र आहेत. हे ही विशेष म्हणावे लागणार आहे. ते कायम कोणाशी ही राजकीय वैर ठेवत नाहीत , उलट विरोधकांना मित्र करण्याची त्यांच्याकडे कसब आहे.
2009 ला विजसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्यासारख्या मातब्बराला विधानसभा निवडणुकीत पराभूत करणारे भारत भालके हे राज्यात प्रसिध्दीस आले. त्यावेळी सुधाकरपंत परिचारक रिंगणात निवडणुकीत नसल्याने मतदारांनी भालकेंना विजयी केले असा दावा केला जात होता. पाच वर्षे त्यांना अ‍ॅक्सिडेंटल आमदार म्हणून सतत टोचले जात होते. परंतु 2014 देशात व राज्यात मोदींची लाट असताना व येथे खुद्द पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी सभा घेवून ही पंढरपूर व मंगळवेढ्याच्या मतदारांनी भारत भालके यांना आमदार केले. त्या निवडणुकीत समोर सुधाकरपंत परिचारक यांचे पुतणे प्रशांत परिचारक हे होते. व्यूहरचना आखून चिकाटीने लढण्याचा हा परिणाम होता. यामुळे तर भालके राज्यात लढवय्ये म्हणून प्रसिध्द झाले. त्यांनी पंढरपूर व मंगळवेढ्याचे राजकारण गेले पंधरा वर्षे आपल्या भोवती फिरवत ठेवण्यात यश मिळविले आहे. राजकारणात शरद पवार यांना गुरू मानणार्‍या भारतनानांनी त्यांच्याकडून अनेक राजकीय खेळ्या शिकल्या आहेत. नानांनी अनेक राजकीय पक्षात काम केले आहे. त्यांची ही चिकाटी पाहूनच भाजपाचे नेते स्व. प्रमोद महाजन यांनी ही एक दिवस पंढरीच्या राजकारणात भारत उदय होईल असे भाकित केले होते व ते खरे ठरले.
नानांनी दहा वर्षे आमदारकीच्या काळात अनेक कामे केली. सतत ते विधीमंडळात आपले प्रश्‍न मांडतात. सामाजिक प्रश्‍नांना वाचा फोडण्याचे काम त्यांनी केले. पंढरपूर व मंगळवेढ्याच्या स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांमध्ये त्यांचे समर्थक काम पाहत आहेत. सर्वसामान्यांचा आमदार म्हणून त्यांची प्रसिध्दी आहे. ते सामान्य लोकांच्यात सहज रमून जातात. मध्यंतरीच्या काळात ते आजारी होते. पण त्यांनी यावर ही मात मिळविली ती आपल्या लढवय्या स्वभावामुळे व सकारात्मकतेच्या जोरावर. अनेकांना त्यांनी मदत केली असल्याने त्यांना आशीर्वाद ही खूप मिळाले आहेत. भेदभाव न करता सर्वांना बरोबर घेवून जाणारा आमदार म्हणून त्यांची ओळख असून पत्रकारितेमुळे आमची मैत्री झाली पण निखळ राहिली. आज ज्यांचा वाढदिवस असून या लढवय्या मित्राला माझ्याकडून अनेक अनेक शुभेच्छा.. जीवेत शरदः शतम्.
