पंढरपूर– भीमा खोऱ्यात झालेल्या पावसामुळे अनेक धरणांचे दरवाजे उघडण्यात आले आहेत. यामुळे सोमवार (31 ऑगस्ट) दौंडची आवक सकाळी आठच्या सुमारास 24 हजार क्युसेक झाली होती तर प्रकल्प 100 टक्के भरला आहे. हे धरण आता शंभर टक्के भरले असून याची वाटचाल पूर्ण क्षमतेने म्हणजे 110 टक्के भरण्याकडे सुरू आहे.
धरणात येणाऱ्या पाण्याची आवक पाहता आता उजनीतून भीमा-सीना बोगद्यात 400 क्युसेक वेगाने सोडण्यात आले आहे. सध्या सीना माढा उपसा सिंचन योजनेसाठीही 262 क्युसेकने पाणी सोडले जात आहे. खडकवासला, मुळशी, पवना यासारख्या धरणातून पाणी सोडले जात आहे.
धरण शंभर टक्के भरत असल्याने उजनी लाभक्षेत्रात आनंदाचे वातावरण आहे. सोलापूर जिल्हयासह जलाशयाच्या काठावरील भागाचा पाणीप्रश्न आता मिटला आहे.
