पंढरपूर – कोरोना विषाणूचा प्रादुर्भाव रोखण्यासाठी लॉकडॉऊन असल्याने गरजू व्यक्तिंना जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंचा पुरवठा करण्यासाठी 1500 किटचे वितरण वसंतराव काळे शैक्षणिक संकुलाच्या वतीने करण्यात आले.
या धान्य, पालेभाज्या व फळांचे पॅकिंग तयार करून वाहनांमार्फत सोशल डिस्टन्सिंगचे पालन करत ही किट पोहोचविण्यात आली. यात भंडीशेगाव (150), वाडीकुरोली (125) पिराची कुरोली (150) शेळवे (100) खेड भाळवणी (100) केसकरवाडी (80) भाळवणी (150) टप्पा (25) चिंचणी (30) जैनवाडी (50) धोंडेवाडी (125) आढीव (200) उपरी (85) पळशी(125) सुपली(50) या गावात या 1500 किटचे वाटप झाले.
अशा अडचणीच्या काळात शैक्षणिक संस्था, सामाजिक ,स्वयंसेवी संस्था व व्यक्तिंनी पुढाकार घेऊन य गरजूंना मदत करावी असे आवाहन श्रीराम शिक्षण प्रसारक मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष कल्याणराव काळे यांनी केले.
यापूर्वी भाळवणी येथील वसंतराव काळे सहकारी साखर कारखान्याच्या वतीने कारखाना कार्यस्थळावर गरजूंना धान्याचे वितरण करण्यात आले आहे. तसेच निशिगंधा सहकारी बँकेच्या वतीने अध्यक्ष कल्याणराव काळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली गरजूंसाठी धान्य व जीवनावश्यक वस्तू देण्यात आल्या आहेत.
