पंढरपूर- ‘आपण नेहमी म्हणतो की ग्रामीण भागाचा विकास झाला पाहिजे पण त्यादृष्टीने कृती होताना मात्र दिसत नाही. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींनी 2014 च्या दरम्यान ‘उन्नत भारत’ अभियानाची घोषणा केली. त्यानुसार त्यांनी सर्व खासदारांनी कमीत कमी एक ते दोन खेडी दत्तक घ्यावी व त्यांचा विकास करावा असा विचार मांडला होता. एआयसीटीईने देखील शैक्षणिक संस्थांच्या माध्यमातून ही योजना पुढे नेली. संशोधनातून ग्रामीण भागातील सरासरी उत्पन्न वाढले पाहिजे ही त्यामागची भूमिका आहे, असे प्रतिपादन ऑल इंडिया कौन्सिल फॉर टेक्निकल एज्युकेशन अर्थात एआयसीटीईचे चेअरमन डॉ. अनिल सहस्त्रबुद्दे यांनी केले.
स्वेरीमध्ये आयोजिलेल्या ‘टेक्नोसोसायटल- 2020’ या ऑनलाइन आंतरराष्ट्रीय तंत्रपरिषदेच्या उद्घाटन प्रसंगी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून डॉ.सहस्त्रबुद्दे मार्गदर्शन करत होते. प्रारंभी उपस्थितांच्या हस्ते दीपप्रज्वलन केल्यानंतर तंत्रपरिषदेचे समन्वयक डॉ. प्रशांत पवार यांनी प्रास्तविकात तंत्रपरिषदेचा मुख्य उद्धेश, देश विदेशातून सहभागी असलेले संशोधक व शास्त्रज्ञ, प्राप्त झालेले शोधनिबंध आदी बाबत माहिती दिली. स्वेरीचे संस्थापक सचिव व अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. बी.पी.रोंगे यांनी ऑनलाइन उपस्थित असलेले शास्त्रज्ञ, संशोधक, प्राध्यापक यांचे स्वागत करून स्वेरीच्या स्थापनेपासून ते आत्तापर्यंतच्या वाटचालीबाबत संपूर्ण माहिती दिली.

या परिषदे साठी डॉ.विजय जोशी (ऑस्ट्रेलिया) हे प्लेनरी स्पीकर व प्रमुख उद्घाटक म्हणून लाभले होते. ते म्हणाले ‘भारताच्या विकासासाठी हातभार लावणे हे माझे कर्तव्य समजतो. ऑस्ट्रेलिया, जपान, न्यूझीलंड, आर्यलँड, भारत या विविध देशात मी कार्य केलेले आहे. पंढरपूर सारख्या ग्रामीण भागात संशोधन आणि विकासास हातभार लावण्याचे कार्य स्वेरीच्या माध्यमातून सुरु आहे. या परिषदेत डॉ. थॉमस मबुया (नैरोबी), बोतीर उस्मानोव्ह (उझबेकिस्तान), डॉ.एस.पी. अरुण (भारत), डॉ. यल्लोजी राव (अमेरिका), डॉ. मृणालिनी पत्तर्कीन (अमेरिका) हे मार्गदर्शन करत आहेत. यात जवळपास 300 प्राध्यापक व संशोधकांनी नोंदणी केली असून जवळपास 350 संशोधनपर लेख आले आहेत.
यावेळी मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते ‘बुक ऑफ बस्ट्रॅक्ट’ चे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले. कार्यक्रमास संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष नामदेव कागदे, विश्‍वस्त दादासाहेब रोंगे, एच.एम. बागल, बी.डी. रोंगे, स्वेरी अंतर्गत असलेल्या सर्व महाविद्यालयांचे प्राचार्य, अधिष्ठाता, विभागप्रमुख व प्राध्यापकवर्ग उपस्थित होते. या समारंभाचे सूत्रसंचालन प्रा. एम.एम. भोरे यांनी केले.
