मुंबई – केंद्रातील मोदी सरकारने पेट्रोल, डिझेल व एलपीजी गॅसच्या किमती भरमसाठ वाढवल्या आहेत. पेट्रोलने १०० रुपये लीटरचा टप्पा पार केला असून डिझेल ९२ रुपये लीटर झाले आहे. ही भाववाढ अशीच चालू राहिली तर डिझेल १०० रुपये लघटर होण्यास फार दिवस लागणार नाहीत. स्वयंपाकाचा गॅसही ९०० रुपये झाला आहे. या महागाईमुळे लोकांचे जगणे कठीण झाले आहे. आधीच कोरोनाच्या संकटाने जनता त्रस्त आहे त्यात महागाईचा मार सहन करावा लागत आहेत. केंद्र सरकारच्या या अन्यायी दरवाढीविरोधात उद्या सोमवार दि. ७ जून रोजी राज्यव्यापी आंदोलन करणार आहे, अशी माहिती महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश काँग्रेस कमिटीचे अध्यक्ष नाना पटोले यांनी दिली आहे.
यासंदर्भात अधिक माहिती देताना नाना पटोले म्हणाले की, मोदी सरकारने पेट्रोल-डिझेलमधून कराच्या रुपाने लाखो कोटी रुपये नफा मिळवून सामान्य जनतेला मात्र महागाईच्या खाईत लोटले आहे. युपीए सरकार असताना पेट्रोलवर एक्साईज ड्युटी ९.४८ रुपये होती ती आज ३२.९० रुपये म्हणजे २५८ टक्के आहे तर डिझेलवर ३.५६ रुपये होती ती आज ३१.८० रुपये आहे म्हणजे ८२० टक्के वाढ. या एक्साईज ड्युटीतून मोदी सरकारने गेल्या ७ वर्षात तब्बल २० ते २५ लाख कोटी रुपये कमावले आहेत. तसेच २००१ ते २०१४ या चौदा वर्षाच्या काळात पेट्रोल डिझेलवर प्रति लिटर १ रुपया सेंट्रल रोड फंड सेस लावला जात होता. २०१८ मध्ये याचे नाव तो १८ रु. प्रतिलीटर केला. सध्या पेट्रोल आणि डिझेलवर प्रति लिटर १८ रु. सेंट्रल रोड आणि इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंडासाठी घेतले जातात. तसेच पेट्रोलवर प्रति लीटर २.५० तर डिझेलवर प्रति लिटर ४ रुपये कृषी सेस घेतला जातो. या विरोधात सोमवारी सकाळी ११ वाजता राज्यभर एकाचवेळी एक हजार ठिकाणी, प्रत्येक विधानसभा मतदारसंघात किमान तीन पेट्रोल पंपांवर आंदोलन करून मोदी सरकारचा तीव्र निषेध केला जाणार आहे.
केंद्रात डॉ. मनमोहनसिंह यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली काँग्रेस प्रणित युपीएचे सरकार असताना आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारात कच्च्या तेलाच्या किमती १०० डॉलरपेक्षा जास्त प्रती बॅरल असतानाही देशांतर्गत किमतीवर त्याचा परिमाण होऊ दिला नाही. सामान्य लोकांना दिलासा देण्याची भूमिका त्यांनी घेतली होती. आज आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारात कच्च्या तेलाच्या किमती जवळपास ६४ डॉलर प्रति बॅरल एवढ्या कमी असतानाही पेट्रोल-डिझेलचे दर भरमसाठ वाढवलेले आहेत. मोदी सरकार हे सामान्य जनतेचे सरकार नसून ते फक्त मुठभर धनदांडग्या उद्योगपतींसाठी काम करणारे सरकार आहे, असेही प्रदेशाध्यक्ष म्हणाले.
