पंढरपूर – पंढरपूर- मंगळवेढा विधानसभा पोटनिवडणुकीत पूर्ण ताकदीने उतरण्याचा निर्णय भारतीय जनता पक्षाने घेतला असून यासाठी मंगळवेढ्याचे उद्योजक समाधान आवताडे यांना उमेदवारी दिली असून त्यांच्या पाठीशी आमदार प्रशांत परिचारक यांचा गट भक्कमपणे उभा राहणार आहे. ही जागा जिंकण्याच्या इराद्याने हा निर्णय घेतला असून मतदारसंघातील आवताडे व परिचारक गटांना एकत्र आणण्यात भाजपाचे वरिष्ठ यशस्वी ठरले आहेत. यामुळे राष्ट्रवादीसमोर आता जबर आव्हानं असणार हे निश्‍चित आहे.
समाधान आवताडे हे 2014 ला शिवसेनेच्या तिकिटावर तर 2019 ला अपक्ष म्हणून याच मतदारसंघातून लढले आहेत. त्यांच्या मताची टक्केवारी ही वाढती राहिली आहे. मंगळवेढा भागात क्रमांक एकची मते त्यांनी घेतली आहे. या पोटनिवडणुकीत भाजपाकडून चारजण इच्छुक होते मात्र या चौघांनीही कोणालाही उमेदवारी दिली तरी त्यांच्या पाठीशी एकत्रित राहण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. भाजपाचे येथील नेते आमदार प्रशांत परिचारक यांनी देखील ज्यास उमेदवारी मिळेत त्याच्या पाठीशी आपण राहू असा पवित्रा घेतला. भाजपाने समाधान आवताडे यांना संधी देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. याबाबत मुंबईत व नवी दिल्लीत ही चर्चा झाली होती.
परिचारक गटाने घेतलेली सबुरीची भूमिका पाहता या निवडणुकीत आता मंगळवेढ्यातून आवताडे यांची तर पंढरपूर भागातून परिचारक गटाची ताकद भाजपासाठी एकत्रित आली आहे. येथून राष्ट्रवादी पक्षाकडून भगिरथ भालके अथवा त्यांच्या मातोश्री जयश्रीताई भालके यांना उमेदवारी मिळण्याची शक्यता आहे.
दरम्यान समाधान आवताडे हे मंगळवारी 30 रोजी उमेदवारी अर्ज दाखल करणार असून त्यावेळी पक्षाचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष चंद्रकांत पाटील, विरोधी पक्षनेते देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्यासह माजी उपमुख्यमंत्री विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील तसेच आमदार प्रशांत परिचारक, बार्शीचे आमदार राजेंद्र राऊत व अन्य आमदार व पदाधिकारी व पदाधिकारी उपस्थित राहणार आहेत. भाजपाने पंढरपूरची पोटनिवडणूक अत्यंत प्रतिष्ठेची केली असल्याचे दिसत आहे.
