राष्ट्रवादी काँगे्रस पक्षाला सोडून भारतीय जनता पक्षात माजी खासदार रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांनी प्रवेश केल्यामुळे जिल्ह्यातील त्यांचे समर्थक ही आता कमळ हाती घेवू लागले आहेत. सहकारमंत्री सुभाष देशमुख व मोहिते पाटील यांच्यातील ताळमेळ पाहता विधानसभेपूर्वी माळशिरस, करमाळा, पंढरपूर, मंगळवेढा, माढा यासह जिल्ह्यातील अन्य तालुक्यांमध्ये ही नवीन समीकरणं पाहावयास मिळतील. काही दिग्गज नेते भाजपाकडील येतील अशी चिन्ह आत्तापासून दिसून येत आहेत.
सहकारमंत्री सुभाष देशमुख यांची ऊसपट्ट्यातील साखरपेरणी आता भाजपासाठी उपयोगी पडू लागली आहे. राज्य व केंद्रात सत्तेत असून देखील सोलापूर जिल्ह्यासह पश्‍चिम महाराष्ट्रात भारतीय जनता पक्षाला आपली ताकद वाढविताना अनेक अडचणींचा सामना करावा लागत आहे. अन्य पक्षातील नेते थेट भाजपात प्रवेश करण्याऐवजी ते कुंपणावर राहून कामे करून घेत असल्याने भाजपाच्या कार्यकर्त्यांमध्ये नाराजी आहे. आधी पक्षात प्रवेश करा व नंतरच कामे असा फॉर्म्यला आता तयार करण्यात आल्याचे चित्र आहे.
सुभाष देशमुख यांच्याकडे मंत्रिपद आल्यानंतर ग्रामीण भागात त्यांनी पक्षाचे काम जोमाने सुरू केले आहे. त्यांनी काँग्रेस व राष्ट्रवादीसह अन्य पक्षातील नेते, आमदारांशी संबंध सलोख्याचे ठेवले आहेत. यामुळे येथे भाजपाच्या जवळ गेलेल्या नेत्यांमध्ये सुभाष देशमुखांविषयी आकस ही निर्माण झाला आहे. येथे थेट दोन गट असून एक पालकमंत्री विजयकुमार देशमुख व दुसरा सहकारमंत्री सुभाष देशमुख यांचा. महाआघाडातील नेते पालकमंत्र्यांना जवळ करतात तर महाआघाडी विरोधक असणार्‍या सर्वपक्षीय नेत्यांना सहकारमंत्री आपले वाटतात.
दरम्यान सुभाष देशमुख यांनी जी व्यूहरचना साखरपट्ट्यात केली आहे याचा आता पक्षाला फायदा होवू लागला आहे. राष्ट्रवादी काँगे्रसचे युवा नेते माजी खासदार रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्यासह जिल्ह्यातील त्यांच्या अनेक समर्थकांनी आता भाजपात प्रवेश केल्याने पश्‍चिम महाराष्ट्रात भाजपाला नेतृत्वाचा जो प्रश्‍न होता तो आता सुटताना दिसत आहे. रणजितसिंह हे प्रदेश युवक राष्ट्रवादीचे अध्यक्ष होते, ते विधानपरिषदेचे बिनविरोध आमदार झाले तर राज्यसभेवर हे निवडून गेले होते. त्यांना राज्यात व दिल्लीत काम करण्याचा अनुभव असल्याने भाजपात त्यांचे जोरदार स्वागत झाले आहे.
भारतीय जनता पक्ष हा सोलापूर जिल्ह्यात महाआघाडीवर अवलंबून नाही हे या पक्षाने लोकसभा निवडणुकीच्या निमित्ताने दाखवून देत आगामी विधानसभेची ही त्यांच्या व्यूहरचनेची चुणूक दाखवून दिली आहे. भाजपाकडे अनेकांचा ओढा असून येत्या विधानसभेपूर्वी सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील काही दिग्गज हातात कमळ घेताना दिसतील असे सांगितले जात आहे. येथे विधानसभा निवडणुकीत जास्तीत जास्त भाजपा व शिवसेनेचे उमेदवार विजयी करण्याची तयारी केली जात आहे. यासाठी सुभाष देशमुख यांनी दोन वर्षापासून सुरू केलेली साखरपेरणी उपयोगी ठरणार आहे व यातच आता रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील भाजपात आल्याने नवीन समीकरण तयार होतील व त्यांची तयारी सुरू असून याची ट्रायल लोकसभेला माढा व सोलापूर या दोन्ही लोकसभा मतदारसंघात घेतली जाईल.
माळशिरस, करमाळा,माढा व पंढरपूर- मंगळवेढा, मोहोळ विधानसभा मतदारसंघामध्ये जोरदार तयारी करण्यात येत असून यासाठी मोहिते पाटील व देशमुख जोडीची भूमिका महत्वाची ठरणार आहे. रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील हे भाजपामध्ये येवू नयेत अथवा त्यांना पक्षाने प्रवेश देवू नये यासाठी गेल्या अनेक महिन्यांपासून जिल्ह्यातील भाजपाशी जवळीक साधलेले नेते प्रयत्न करत होते. परंतु राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, महसूलमंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील व जलसंपदामंत्री गिरीश महाजन यांनी मोहिते पाटील यांच्यावर विश्‍वास दाखविला व त्यांना पक्षात सन्मानाने प्रवेश देत पश्‍चिम महाराष्ट्रात पक्षाची ताकद वाढविण्याचा प्रयत्न सुरू केला आहे.
