सोलापूर- पुण्यश्लोक अहिल्यादेवी होळकर सोलापूर विद्यापीठाचा 16 वा वर्धापन दिन 1 ऑगस्ट 2020 रोजी साजरा होत असून यानिमित्त ध्वजारोहण व ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आल्याची माहिती कुलसचिव डॉ. विकास घुटे यांनी दिली.
1 ऑगस्ट रोजी सकाळी दहा वाजता कुलगुरू डॉ. मृणालिनी फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते विद्यापीठ कॅम्पसमध्ये ध्वजारोहणाचा कार्यक्रम होईल. कोरोना साथीच्या या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर फिजिकल डिस्टन्स ठेवून हा कार्यक्रम होईल. त्यानंतर साडेदहा वाजता गुगल मीटद्वारे ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रम होईल. यासाठी प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून पालकमंत्री दत्तात्रय भरणे आणि दत्ता मेघे इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल सायन्स अभिमत विद्यापीठ वर्धाचे प्र-कुलपती डॉ. वेदप्रकाश मिश्रा यांची उपस्थिती लाभणार आहे.
यावेळी कुलगुरू डॉ. मृणालिनी फडणवीस या विद्यापीठाच्या विकासाचा आढावा घेतील. पालकमंत्री श्री. भरणे व प्र-कुलपती डॉ. मिश्रा यांचे यावेळी प्रमुख मार्गदर्शन होणार आहे. यामध्ये विद्यापीठातील विविध संकुलाचे संचालक, महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य, संस्थाप्रमुख, प्राध्यापक, शिक्षक, अधिकारी, कर्मचारी हे ऑनलाइन सहभागी होणार आहेत. यंदा कोरोना साथीच्या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर दरवर्षीप्रमाणे मोठ्या प्रमाणात वर्धापन दिनाचा सोहळा न आयोजिता ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आल्याचे प्र-कुलगुरू डॉ. देबेंद्रनाथ मिश्रा यांनी सांगितले. या ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रमाचा अधिकाधिक जणांनी लाभ घ्यावा, असे आवाहन कुलसचिव डॉ. घुटे यांनी केले आहे.
