पंढरपूर– जागतिक महिला दिनाचे औचित्य साधून पंढरपूर शहर पोलीस ठाणे व निर्भया पथकाच्या वतीने विविध कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. आज 8 मार्च रोजी शहर पोलीस ठाण्याचा कारभार पोलीस उपनिरीक्षक मनीषा महाडिक यांच्याकडे सोपविण्यात आला होता.
जागतिक महिला दिनी शहर पोलीस स्टेशनच्या ठाणे अंमलदार म्हणून अश्विनी पवार, अंकिता कौलगे, नम्रता गटकुळ व पौर्णिमा हादगे यांनी काम पाहिले. या महिला अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांनी पोलीस ठाण्याचा कारभार उत्कृष्ठपणे सांभाळला.
दरम्यान निर्भया पथकाच्या वतीने तालुक्यातील गोपाळपूर येथील स्वेरी महाविद्यालय व वाडीकुरोली येथील वसंतराव काळे प्रशालेत विद्यार्थीनींना कायदेविषयक तसेच संरक्षणात्मक उपाययोजनांची माहिती देण्यात आली.यावेळी तालुका पोलीस निरीक्षक किरण अवचर, ग्रामीणचे निरीक्षक प्रशांत भस्मे उपस्थित होते.
